Sifra Lentin is an author and fellow (Bombay History) at the Mumbai-based think tank Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations.

Her latest book is Mercantile Bombay: a journey of Trade, Finance, and Enterprise (2023). She has also completed the planning and content editing of four books on "Jews and Muslims in South Asia". In 2018, she was a fellow at the Herbert Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
